Our blood supply comes from caring donors like you. When you give blood, you give someone another laugh, another hug, another chance.

    Donating Blood is the easiest life-saving activity there can be, and is what we are all about. Donating takes 5-10 minutes and is completely painless, but figure an hour including check-in, plus they'll take your temperature, blood pressure, test your iron level, ask a few questions, and you'll fill out a form.

    To donate, you will get poked in the arm; it's no big deal, and millions of people all around the world donate regularly. Even the smallest children get handle it fine when they need intravenous medications for example.

    After, you'll be encouraged to stay for 10 minutes to drink water or juice and have some cookies or crackers. Once you join an existing local chapter, you'll go to the local blood center which that chapter coordinates with, either on your own or as coordinated in a group by your chapter leadership.
